DGL and RMS to produce toys, games, puzzles and more.
Discovery Consumer Products has signed partnerships with DGL and RMS to develop new toy lines for its Discovery Kids brand.
DGL will develop a new line of toys and games featuring do-it-yourself science and experiment kits such as circuit kits, salt water and solar powered vehicles and build kits.
The line will also span wood, foam and metal puzzles both with and without motorisation, clay and fun-dough, sand sets, foam blasters and launchers and gliders, voice changers and pocket volcanos.
Elsewhere, RMS will develop a line of Discovery Kids toys and games featuring core science sets such as crystal growing, rock tumblers and volcano kits.
The RMS range will also include detective sets including crime scene investigations and decoders, magic kits, spa bath sets, dig and discover kits featuring relics and gemstones, elastic, balloon and water motion vehicles, metal building sets and arts and crafts materials.
“Through partnerships like RMS and DGL, Discovery Kids continues to provide new and exciting opportunities that kids love and parents trust,” said JP Stoops, director of licensing for Discovery Kids.
“From solar powered robots and build kits to outdoor adventure and arts and crafts, children of all ages can engage with a variety of activities while actively expanding their interests and curiosity.”
The new Discovery Kids items from DGL and RMS are expected to hit stores in North America in summer 2015.
