Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), will unveil the 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid at the upcoming 2013 New York International Auto Show to be held during 29 March 2013 to 07 April 2013 in the US.
The vehicle is expected to add a hybrid system to the current 2L flat-four engine with a continuously-variable transmission (CVT) that generates an output of 148hp.
Based on the XV Crosstrek crossover, the hybrid will be made available with the company's engineered hybrid system and symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) technology.
The company is also planning to unveil an all-new performance concept car at the motor show along with the hybrid.
Earlier, the company had unveiled the SUBARU VIZIV CONCEPT at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show that was held in Switzerland.
