Coretronic ships 5.82 million BLUs in June Rebecca Kuo
Coretronic shipped 5.82 million backlight units(BLUs)in June,mainly consisting of 480,000 units for LCD TVs(94%being LED applications),1.91 million units for monitors(86%being LED applications)and 3.11 million units for notebook and tablet PCs(all LED applications),according to the company.
Coretron had consolidated revenues of NT$6.01 billion(US$201 million)for June decreasing by 2.2%on month and by 4.4%on year,while its second-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$17.975 billion grew by 9.1%on quarter.Its January-June consolidated revenues of NT$34.456 billion dropped by 11.9%on year.
