US-based Jason’s Deli has introduced new gluten-free chicken nuggets called J.D. Nuggetz.
The new nuggets are said to be free from antibiotics and gluten, which are exclusively produced for Jason's by Purdue.
In addition, the new product is also free from artificial trans-fats, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and dyes, according to Jason's Deli.
Jason's said that chicken breast and rib meat nuggets have been breaded with cornmeal and salt, instead of flour.
Jason's Deli managing director Jamie Cohen said that today's dietary limitations are varied and families are challenged now more than ever to find convenient, healthy options.
"J.D. Nuggetz is another way we can accommodate our guests. From healthy to indulgent, we like to think there is something for everyone at Jason's Deli," Cohen added.
