ips All Natural, a new food company based in Los Angeles, has announced that it has launched the first-ever chips with egg white protein.
Made with corn, egg whites and other all natural ingredients, using a patent-pending Pressure-Puffed process, ips come in four flavors - Aged White Cheddar, Barbeque, Cinnamon and Sea Salt & Black Pepper.
According to the company, these gluten-free snacks are free from artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or GMO ingredients and each one ounce bag of ips delivers 7g of protein and contains half the fat of fried chips, as well as fewer carbs than baked chips.
Commenting on the launch, ips All Natural founder Sean Olson said that the company has created ips for people who love to snack but want more than just empty calories.
"We take out some of the fat and empty carbs found in traditional chips and replace it with nutritious egg white protein to offer a wholesome, satisfying, never-fried chip that you can feel great about eating," added Olson.
ips are currently available at select retailers in Southern California, online at Amazon and through the company's website.
