Zeller Plastik, France a GCS brand has announced the launch of a new lightweight snap hinged dispensing closure, Touareg for tubes. The new 35mm diameter closure completes the range from 30mm to 50mm tubes in the Supersoft family range.
The closure has been designed to increase cost reduction and reduce environmental impact in line with the GCS Cap Green sustainability initiative, at just 4g in weight. It is 20% lighter compared to the previous version, leading to a reduction in carbon footprint, packagingeurope.com reported.
According to the company, the closure comes with weight optimization and cavity mold design and its flip-top can be embossed to suit customer requirements.
The closure is manufactured with butterfly hinge technology and suits the ND20.6 tube neck finish. Available in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm orifice diameters, it comes in a wide range of matt colors.
