Chery and Israel Corporation’s joint venture QOROS plans to release an electric vehicle (EV) before 2017.
Volker Steinwascher, the vice president of QOROS, said to the media recently, QOROS plans to release an EV before 2017. QOROS explored its first compact car QOROS GQ3 early in 2013. They announced that they will exhibit two compact hatchback concept vehicles Cross Hybrid and Estate late January in The Geneva Auto Show.
Volker Steinwascher said that QOROS applied intelligent modular manufacturing platform, which can introduce news more quickly and more efficiently. QOROS GQ3 was the first model based on this platform.
Global Better Place and Better Place Israel considered coming into Chinese market in the next 5 years, which mother company Israel Corp was the shareholder of QOROS. Foreign media think it can promote the plan that Global Better Place and Better Place Israel comes to Chinese market.
