W. L. Gore & Associates has introduced two new 3FL (Full Face Foam Liner) cap liners, which will maintain the structural integrity of containers of chemicals for agricultural and household uses.
The company has developed the new 3FL-363 and 3FL-373 cap liners to maintain container integrity throughout distribution, transportation and storage.
Both the liners, which will allow containers to breathe without leaking, will also maintain maximum airflow, even after contact with aggressive and highly concentrated chemical formulations.
With an polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membrane bonded across the face of the liner, the new 3FL cap liners feature a multi-layer construction.
The 1mm thick cap liners are available in various slit widths, and can be installed like a traditional foam liner.
Gore plans to exhibit the cap liners at interpack 2014, which will take place at Dusseldorf, Germany from 8 to 14 May 2014.
