Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors (MMC), together with Mitsubishi (MC), Yoma Strategic (YSH) and First Myanmar Investment (FMI) has opened the new after-sales service center in Yangon, Myanmar.
Claimed to be the carmaker's first-of-its-kind in Myanmar, the new center will be currently operated jointly by YSH and FMI.
Features of the new service center include six work stations and is claimed to offer genuine Mitsubishi Motors spare parts for general maintenance and repair services.
Operations at the center are managed by a resident technical advisor from MMC, who will also be responsible for training local technicians.
According to the carmaker, the establishment of new after-sales service center in Myanmar comes as the country is anticipated to become one of the largest and most important markets in Asia and the ASEAN region.
