UK-based chocolate company Thorntons has recalled three varieties of its Chocolate Smiles Glass Jars as some of them may contain small pieces of glass, according to the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The products subject to the recall include 135g and 350g Milk Chocolate Smiles Jar, and 135g Pink Chocolate Smiles Jar with all best before dates and lot codes.
Thorntons has issued product recall notices at all its stores, explaining to customers why the products have been recalled.
No other Thorntons chocolate products are associated with the recall.
Consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them and to return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
