Nissan has launched its new small car, Note, in England, Europe, marking the start of sales of its new B-segment car in the continent.
The company recently held a media event at Eton Dorney Lake in Dorney, Buckinghamshire.
To demonstrate the Note's new technology, the carmaker created a Note Boat, a graphic and entertaining way of showing off the new technology. It has been specially adapted allowing it to be rowed at the 2012 Olympic venue.
The Note features a a sliding rear seat, while the rear doors open to almost 90 degrees, which allowed the addition of a pair of oars that can move through an entire rowing stroke.
It also has four cameras to give a helicopter-style, top-down view and, it gives lane departure warning, blind spot warning and moving object detection using rear view camera.
The road-going Note deliveries in Europe commenced on 1 October, while the B-segment rival secured about 3,860 orders.
