Topshop,the British multinational high-street fashion retailer,has opened the doors of its first flagship store in Sydney.An overwhelming crowd of nearly 30,000 people gathered at the opening of the flagship store.
Located in the premises of the heritage-listed Gowings Building,the total area of the 1,800 sq m sprawling outlet is spread across four levels of prime retail space,along with contemporary floor-to-ceiling windows,neon signage,and a floor staff of around 280 people.
The store will offer an extensive range of apparels and other fashion accessories for both men and women of all sizes,and would introduce around 50 to 100 new styles and looks every week.
However,the highlight of the Sydney outlet would definitely be the Irish fashion designer J.W Anderson's collection,created especially for the British label.The collection includes striped sweaters,boyish blazers,collegiate shirting and brightly patterned trousers.
Part of the British high-street clothier Arcadia Group Limited,Topshop owns around 440 stores in over 33 countries.Founded in 1964,the fashion label also has online operations.
