These Products Have Been Distributed Nationally

Nestlé is recalling certain Buitoni brand pizzas in Canada as they many contain pieces of metal, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The products affected by the recall are Buitoni Funghi Rustico 365g, bearing UPC no. 0 55000 59984 9; Buitoni Margherita 350g, with UPC 0 55000 59985 6; Buitoni Pepperoni Diavolo 340g, UPC 0 55000 59986 3; Buitoni Pollo Toscano 350g UPC 0 55000 59987 0; and Buitoni Spinaci Fresca 360g UPC 0 55000 59990 0.

These products have been distributed nationally. Till date, there have been no reported consumer complaints about these products in Canada.

The products were produced in Germany and were imported by Nestlé Canada.

The importer, Nestlé Canada is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
