Lifeinsure.co.uk, a major underwriter in the UK has kicked off three new insurance products offering cover for individuals belonging to age group of more than 50 years.
According to the insurance provider, its policies are suitable for those who do not have any one to take care of them, and have to bear their own funeral expenses and any outstanding debts that would be left in the event of their death.
The latest policies offer an option to pay out a lump sum upon the policy holder's death, the underwriter said.
The customers can buy the policies without any medical examination, and can decide the premium amount for their policy.
A spokesperson for Life Insure said, "Our customers want a product that offers versatile cover and which allows them to control their budget and give some reassurance to dependents and other relatives. We give our customers advice and support on policies that come with no restrictions and which ensure a guaranteed payout."
