Hilary’s will launch frozen veggie breakfast sausage products next month in line with its mission to innovate culinary-inspired foods.
The company said that the veggie sausage products are nutrient-rich and flavorsome will be exclusively available at Sprouts from September to November.
Hilary’s has given them a suggested retail price of $4.39 per package for that period.
After November, the products will be made available at other retail stores across the US.
The sausage product will come in two flavors – Spicy Sausage and Apple Maple Sausage.
According to the company, the veggie sausage products are made with plant-based whole foods that include millet, dates, hemp seeds and lentils.
It also claims that they are free from common allergens and are the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified organic, certified gluten free, non-GMO project verified, and vegan.
Hilary’s marketing vice president Becky Harpstrite said: “Hilary’s was founded with a goal to help heal the American diet and our new Frozen Veggie Breakfast Sausages help to accomplish just that.
“They serve as a hearty way to start your morning and are free from common allergens and artificial ingredients.”
Harpstrite also said that the breakfast sausages help in providing relief to busy families and people who are looking for convenient and yet healthy food options which are also tasty and packed with flavor for their daily routine.
Last month, Hilary’s had launched new organic salad dressings which come in four flavors. Prior to that it had added three new flavors to its veggie bite products in April this year.
The company also makes frozen veggie burgers. Its products can be found across conventional and grocery stores in the US and Canada.
