Irish food ingredients and flavors group Kerry Foods has teamed up with UK-based design agency Dragon Rouge to create a brand name and packaging for its new quick-to-heat meals range.
The branding is designed to attract foodies by presenting a collection of recipes with ingredients crafted by chefs at Kerry, using a fusion of international cuisines.
Dragon has created the Little Urban Food brand. The packaging features a graphics portray of the little chef cycling the world searching for the best recipes, herbs, spices and ingredients and loading them into his trailer.
Dragon creative director Marie-Therese Cassidy said: "The opportunity to create a colourful new brand for food lovers like ourselves who don't always have time to cook is really exciting - and we're pleased that the feisty chef we've created, with his range of Little Urban Food Co recipes, is now making a bold appearance on Waitrose shelves."
The Little Urban Food meals range will be available at Waitrose stores in five varieties - Saffron Chicken; Tandoori Chicken Masala; Chicken & Chorizo Paella; Firecracker Chicken; and Five Mushroom Pappardelle.
