Indian auto maker Tata Motors has reported total sales of 72,712 vehicles including exports, commercial and passenger vehicles in March 2013.
The company sold a total 56,813 commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the month, including the 41,961 units of LCVs and combined sales of 14,852 units of MCVs and HCVs.
For the financial year the cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market was 537,143 units, including the cumulative LCV sales of 393,762 units and combined sales of MCV and HCV of 143,381 units.
Pick-ups of the company including Tata Super Ace, Tata Xenon and Tata 207 recorded sales of 6,981 units, while the company sold 29,960 units of SCVs in the month.
During the month, the total sales of passenger vehicles reached 183,977, including 3,444 vehicles ranging between the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo.
The automaker exported about 3,552 vehicles in March 2013, adding to 50,831 units exported during the financial year.
