German carmaker BMW has unveiled the revamped 2014 5 Series models, including a Sedan, Touring and Gran Turismo, in addition to an ActiveHybrid 5.
The revamped Sedan and Touring variants will now be offered in a base diesel variant known as the 518d, which is powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine, incorporating BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, and generates an output of 143hp.
Additionally, the model range also includes the BMW 520d xDrive in both Sedan and Touring guises, which incorporate the intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
The top end models of BMW 5 Series family will be powered by a new V8 engine with TwinPower Turbo technology that produces an output of 450hp.
The revamped 5 Series Sedan and new BMW 5 Series Touring will now be offered in four petrol and six diesel variants, while Gran Turismo will be available in two petrol and three diesels versions.
Features of the revamped range include glare-free high beam assistant, night vision system and optional traffic jam assistant, in addition to driving assistant plus that includes active cruise control with stop & go function and collision warning with braking function.
