Nanotech Entertainment today announced four new products for 2013, Jumper, Masher, Pinball Wizard XBOX and Pinball Wizard PlayStation The new line-up is a mix of games and game controllers featuring some of NanoTech's newest gaming technology.
"Not only is it important for NanoTech to include the newest and latest technologies into our products, but they must also fit a niche in the marketplace that gives us a vertical market that cannot be filled by other companies," said NanoTech CEO Jeffrey A. Foley. "Our new Family Redemption games are focused on extensive research into the ever shifting needs of the coin-operated gaming environment while our new versions of the Pinball Wizard controller are focused on delivering our unique pinball technology for the two most popular game consoles in the home."
Jumper is a quick play game that can allow up to four players in the standard cabinet and up to eight players in the deluxe cabinet to simultaneously play a quick reaction game. The game features support for traditional redemption ticket dispensers, or more advance ticket printers giving it a wide range of prize payout options. "Jumper has been in development for some time now and our hardware team has been able to get the cost of the electronics under $100, more than half that of a typical arcade game. We feel that the combination of hardware and software innovation in this game will make it an instant hit," stated Foley. Jumper will be field testing in Q1 2013 with an anticipated launch in April 2013.
Masher is the second in the lineup of NanoTech redemption games and features a quick play system that can turn over players quickly. "Masher is a video redemption game that can be played by a variety of players from ages 3 and up and is perfect for the family gaming centers like Dave & Busters or Chuck-E-Cheese," continued Foley. Masher is a single player game that will begin testing in Q2 2013 with an anticipated launch in August 2013.
"We are very excited that our second generation of the popular Pinball Wizard gaming controller will support home consoles. We are working with a new design studio to create a modern look and refined feel for the controller," added Foley. The Pinball Wizard controller will feature a sleek new industrial design, and models will be available for both the XBOX and PlayStation consoles, bringing the realistic feel of pinball control to the home. "Console players have never had the opportunity to play pinball games using real pinball controls. Now with the latest generation of the Pinball Wizard, players will be able to use real arcade pinball plungers and buttons to play their games," Foley noted.
The Pinball Wizard controller features motion sensing input providing real world nudge and tilt features giving the most realistic pinball experience. Pinball Wizard controllers are expected to ship on June 11 2013, the first day of the E3, Electronic Entertainment Expo.
