Global injection-molded plastic packaging manufacturer Berry Plastics has unveiled a new material for the insulated packaging market, which is made of polypropylene.
According to courierpress.com, trade name of the material is Versalite.
A cup made from the durable material Versalite is similar to a traditional foam insulating cup.
Initially, the recyclable Versalite will be marketed to convenience stores and fast food restaurants, and will be later on expanded into other packaging for hot and cold food items.
US-based Berry manufactures plastic packaging, tapes, films and other materials.
