Gibsons has given its 221b Baker Street detective game a redesign, and to celebrate the firm is launching a competition which turns fans into sleuths worthy of wearing the iconic deerstalker.
To win a luxury night for two in the famous Sherlock Park Plaza hotel on Baker Street, fans must create their own case worth of Sherlock's attention. The case, along with a solution, must be no longer than 1,000 words and must be submitted by April 25th 2014.
"221b Baker Street remains immensely popular, but thousands of Sherlock's out there have become a little too familiar with the plots and have even been creating their own to add a new dimension to their game," said Gibsons marketing director, Kate Armitage.
"We invite these – and anyone else who thinks they can outwit the master detective – to submit their perfect crime scene."
To enter the 221b competition, send your perfect crime scene to [email protected] or post to Gemini Court, Throwley Way, Sutton Surrey, SM1 4AF with '221B Baker Street' as the subject/address line.
An example of a case can be found at www.gibsonsgames.co.uk by clicking on the 221b box image on the homepage.
The closing date is April 25th 2014 and the winning entries will be announced by the May 30th 2014.
The redesign of the 221b Baker Street board game will be available in April 2014.
