Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has unveiled the new Maxximo Plus mini-truck, an upgrade of the previous version.
The vehicle is powered by an engine that generates output of 26hp/19.2kW and is claimed to offer mileage of 21.9kmpl.
Built at the company's Chakan plant in Maharashtra, the truck comes with longer wheelbase, 7-leaf rear suspension, wheel base of 1950mm and loading area of 35sq ft.
M&M Automotive Division chief executive Pravin Shah said that the new Maxximo Plus mini-truck comes with the Fuel Smart technology.
"We are sure that the new Maxximo Plus will go a long way in helping our customers prosper in life, which is in keeping with our philosophy of Rise," Shah said.
Features of the vehicle include cabin space of 85cuft (2.4cumt), cable-operated gear shift, windshield wiper with intermittent function, inbuilt spray system, mobile charging facility and dual-mounted sun-visor.
The Maxximo Plus comes with a frontal crash protector that complies with the frontal crash impact regulations.
