Swiss automaker Rinspeed has introduced hybrid self driving sports car Σtos, with an onboard drone to record the adventures of the road.
The company is planning to unveil the car at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas which like most self driving cars that have a normal mode and an autonomous mode.
In the autonomous mode, the steering wheel automatically folds itself out into the dashboard.
It also features two curved widescreens that move closer to the occupants to provide a better view in the self driving mode.
Stos features Harman Connected Car technologies that operate in a thinking, courteous and anticipatory manner.
The company said that the technology is also designed to provide entertainment, connectivity and safety.
One of the striking feature of the car is that it features a drone with its own landing pad on the rear end which can act as a delivery drone as well as capture live videos of the vehicle on the road and stream them live online.
Rinspeed said that the car is powered by a hybrid powertrain, but it did not reveal any details of the technology.
Rinspeed CEO Frank M Rinderknecht said: "The major and especially the disruptive innovations in future automotive engineering will come from the digital realm.
"That is why all major manufacturers and suppliers are now present at the CES Consumer Electronic Show."
Stos is not the first self driving concept car by the automaker, as previously it introduced self driving electric vehicle Budii.
Rinspeed is one of the first companies to introduce self driving sports cars but all the major automakers and some of the tech giants are working on their own versions of the next generation vehicle and have started testing them on regular roads.
