US based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer T3 Motion has signed a contract with the vehicle electronics provider McDonald Technologies to produce EVs.
Under the deal, both the companies will collaborate for manufacturing of T3 Motion's Patroller and Vision series EVs as well as develop a new 3rd generation vehicle, which is expected to be launched in fourth quarter of 2013.
T3 Motion CEO William Tsumpes said the McDonald Technologies' expertise in high volume product manufacturing and delivery models should prove invaluable as the company continues to increase its sales.
"Together, we can leverage our respective strengths and expertise to extend the reach of T3 Motion's products worldwide," Tsumpes added.
The EV manufacturer expects that the partnership will increase its manufacturing capabilities and offer support to supply next-generation products.
McDonald Technologies Business Development vice president Gary Sadler said, "We are extremely excited to have been selected as a strategic partner in T3 Motion's supply chain solution."
