Automotive valves supplier US Engine Valve (USEV) is set to invest $29.5m in its existing plant in Westminster, South Carolina, in order to expand its operations.
With this investment, the company will bring on a new line of equipment to serve its customers in North America. The new investment is expected to create 125 new jobs in the Westminster facility.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits for the project.
USEV South Carolina plant manager Bobby Dover said: "We especially want to thank the South Carolina's Department of Commerce and the Oconee County Economic Development Commission for their support in helping make the expansion in the Westminster facility come to fruition."
USEV, a joint venture between Nittan Valve and Eaton Vehicle Group, offers valves that help increase fuel economy, improve vehicle's overall efficiency and performance.
