It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Nanjing Steel released its financial results for 2012. In 2012, Nanjing Steel realized operating revenue of RMB32.079 billion, falling by 16.82% year on year. Meanwhile, the company posted operating loss of RMB933.8112 million for 2012, a net loss of RMB566.341 million, in comparison of a net profits of RMB325 million for 2011. Nanjing Steel stated that the sharp drop in steel sales price led the company face net loss for 2012.
