Porsche is recalling 58,881 Macan S and Macan Turbo vehicles due to fuel leak.
The Macan Turbo is a sports car that is capable of producing 400hp and can accelerate from 0 - 100 km in 4.8 seconds and it has a top speed of 266 km/h.
As for Macan S, the car is capable of producing 340hp and is capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in 5.4 s and has top speed of 254km/h.
Porsche highlighted that in the affected vehicles, fuel leak is possible in the low-pressure fuel line inside the engine compartment which could lead to fire.
The company said that it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the fault and mentioned that the recall is a purely precautionary measure.
The problem was figured out after a precise examination of complaints and Porsche said that it has been rectified in ongoing production.
Porsche also said that owners of the vehicles will be contacted immediately and the faulty fuel line will be solved in the workshop with a probable replacement.
