ACE European Group has named John Napier as the new non-executive chairman of two of its key entities, ACE European Group and ACE Underwriting Agencies.
The appointment of Napier, who previously has undertaken senior roles within UK and international companies, is subject to regulatory approval.
Napier most recently acted as chairman of UK-based global media services company, Aegis Group, from 2008 until March 2013.
ACE European Group current chairman Andrew Kendrick will become president of ACE European Group, holding full executive management responsibility for the company's operations across its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Kendrick said Napier's diverse business experience and corporate strategy understanding across a range of industries will benefit the company as it continues to develop propositions for multinational and major risks clients throughout the region.
ACE is a provider of commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients in 53 countries worldwide.
