US-based Thiele Technologies has unveiled the new fully automatic Salwasser Model ITL 300 Integrated Top Load Case Packer, which is capable of top loading product into RSC or HSC cases.
The ITL 300 provides flexibility in both machine configuration as well as the variety of products it handles, and its sleek new design features a low, ergonomic knock down case magazine and a small overall footprint making it ideal for nearly any production line.
According to the company, the ITL can accommodate any product as a variety of pick heads are available including vacuum, mechanical, and combination vacuum/mechanical styles.
Case opening is handled securely using opposed vacuum cups and positive case transfer is completed with servo-driven side belts. Case sealing options include either standard tape or optional hot melt closure.
The system's construction options include dry, wash-down, or caustic wash-down and its packer fits perfectly into any production environment. It has been designed for tool-less changeover, completed quickly with hand crank handles increasing uptime and maximizing production.
