Fuji Xerox Australia's sustainability manager Amanda Keogh has been appointed as the head of sustainability for Fuji Xerox's international business group.
The international unit manages 12 Fuji Xerox operating companies in the Asia Pacific region, outside Japan.
Sydney-based Keogh will provide strategic direction and drive sustainability initiatives across all countries in the region in the newly-created role.
Keogh will also manage the Sustainability Centre of Excellence in the APAC region, working closely with the international business group's sustainability teams.
The centre, based in Singapore, will set the sustainability strategy for the regional operating companies and provide support on environmental programs by sharing best practice models from around the world.
"A significant benefit of this role is that it will bring together customer insights and market intelligence in the APAC region to further drive 'green' solution initiatives such as our unique energy management software, Simegy," said Fuji Xerox executive general manager, corporate affairs, Roger Pearce.
Keogh previously chaired the board of the Forest Stewardship Council in Australia and worked with the Australian Information Industry Association and federal government on the e-waste regulations that came into effect in late 2011.
