Australia-based Viscount Plastics has introduced pallets made from post consumer waste.
Viscount developed the innovative new pallet, which is environmentally sustainable for the Australian market, according to ferret.com.au.
The light weight pallet is made from post-consumer waste.
Viscount's Nallyenviropal pallet is made using a post consumer mix that is about 70% HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) milk bottles and 30% LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) stretch wrap, where the pallet can be reprocessed to become another Nallyenviropal pallet.
According to the company, the pallet has wide acceptance within existing supply chain infrastructure, and it also helps with compliance in carbon trading schemes.
Viscount Plastics is a packaging, supply chain and logistics solutions provider that specializes in rigid plastic containers, food packaging, plastic materials handling and industrial products.
