No Charge to Charge Program Offered to Owners Who Purchased Nissan Leaf in Chicago

Nissan has introduced "No Charge to Charge" program for buyers of new LEAF from Nissan dealers in the Chicago market.

The program includes free public fast charging capable of charging the vehicle up to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The program will facilitate owners of Nissan Leaf free one-hour charging sessions at 140 level 2 (240 volt) charging stations and the chargers are present through out Chicago at retail stores and tollway oases.

Nissan Electric Vehicle Sales and Infrastructure Strategy director Brendan Jones: "Nissan LEAF is an attractive option for Chicago car buyers for a number of reasons, such as the available Illinois Alternative Fuels Rebate of up to $4,000 and significantly lower operating costs than a gas-powered car.

"Adding free public fast charging in Chicagoland gives Nissan LEAF an even greater competitive edge over other vehicles, regardless of their fuel source."

"No Charge to Charge" is only offered to owners who purchased or leased Nissan Leaf on or after 1st November 2014.
