Fuji Xerox Australia has launched a new service platform for printers under the banner of the Confident Colour Program.
The Confident Colour Program provides printers with all the tools needed for consistent colour production to meet customer expectations on every job. The program offers four key components: state-of-the-art digital print technology, industry leading colour management solutions, consultancy and professional services, and business development know-how from Fuji Xerox Australia.
Based on these four key components, the Confident Colour Program offers a range of modules to suit different business needs, from staff training and coaching through to achieving FOGRA Process standard for digital (FOGRA is a German-based research institute for the graphic arts.)
Fuji Xerox Australia claims to be the only vendor in Australia to offer consultation by FOGRA-certified digital print experts (DPEs), along with colour management training and business support services for the graphic communications industry.
“For many print providers, achieving consistent colour is often a challenge. The Fuji Xerox Confident Colour Program is designed to assist our customers to provide predictable and repeatable colour so they can deliver every job with confidence,” said Fuji Xerox Australia solutions marketing executive Esther Li.
“A key part of the program is the Digital Colour Management Course, an e-learning component that enables print providers to improve their employees’ colour management skills and knowledge to better understand and utilise the capabilities of their digital colour technology,” Li said.
“This component is offered in 20 modules, and is available online 24 hours a day. The modules cover a broad range of relevant topics to suit the particular needs of each print business, from the fundamentals of colour to colour measurement, colour consistency, print standards, and digital and offset workflow,” she added.
