Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its GLE Coupé which combines coupe style body and characteristics similar to an SUV.
GLE 450 AMG is the first Mercedes-AMG product that features standard all-wheel drive, sophisticated chassis, along with nine-speed automatic transmission.
The 450 AMG model is powered by V6 biturbo engine capable of producing 367 hp and 520 Nm of torque which is similar to the output produced by a sports car.
It features front and rear apron, AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, AIRMATIC package; which includes air suspension and infinitely variable adaptive damping system.
The Dynamic Select in the 450 AMG provides low engine sound, improved dynamic control and COMAND screen which changes according to the transmission mode.
The transmission modes include Comfort mode which provides a good ambience to the car and Sport+ mode where the cockpit instruments respond faster, engine sound becomes powerful and gives the car lively sports car like feel, the company said.
Mercedes-AMG GmbH Board of Management chairman Tobias Moers said: "The GLE 450 AMG Coupé is our first sports model and further highly emotional and performance-oriented models will follow in the near future."
Apart from GLE 450 AMG the company has introduced the GLE 350 d 4MATIC diesel model capable of producing 258 hp and 620 Nm of torque and GLE 400 4MATIC petrol model which is fitted with direct-injection V6 biturbo engine capable of producing 333 hp and pump 480 Nm of torque.
The standard features of the modes include DYNAMIC SELECT dynamic handling control system, EASY-PACK tailgate along with reversing camera with dynamic guide lines, ESP Curve Dynamic Assist, Crosswind Assist, and collision prevention assist plus.
