AEGON has cancelled the listing of its common shares on the Official List maintained by the UK Listing Authority and the admission to trading of its common shares on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The Netherlands based underwriter has delisted its shares in London as the volume of AEGON's shares traded on the LSE was negligible and did not justify the related expenses.
AEGON's said that its shares will remain listed on Euronext Amsterdam and the New York Stock Exchange.
AEGON trades in more than twenty markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia and offers life insurance, pensions and asset management company services.
The insurer serves 47 million customers across the globe through its dedicated and customer friendly 25,000 employees.
