Lighting giant Philips has entered into a partnership with global corporate real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle.
Through the partnership,Philips will aim to deliver energy management solutions to all of Jones Lang LaSalle's clients.The two companies say this is the first time the world of corporate real estate and lighting have come together on such a scale to bring LED lighting and other energy-efficient technology to corporate interiors.
Jones Lang LaSalle manages more than 70 million light points for over 150 corporate clients in Asia Pacific alone.The company obtained revenue of$2.6 billion in 2011 and currently serves clients in 70 countries with upwards of 200 offices.
Philips estimates that the agreement will offer savings of up to$100m for Jones Lang LaSalle in Asia Pacific.
The deal will start in Asia Pacific and then spread out over the Americas,the Middle East,Europe and Africa.

Both companies will also provide consultancy on how to manage energy with intelligent lighting solutions and controls for new and existing customers.
