Posco Decided to Build a New Processing Center in Mexico for The Automobile Industry

Because the demand for steel sheet for the automobile industry kept increasing in Central Northern America, Posco decided to build a new processing center in Mexico for the automobile industry.

The new processing center is closed to its plant in Altamira with an annual capacity, but the detail schedule has not been set yet.

Currently, Posco operates two processing centers in Mexico with an annual capacity of 170,000 tons and 400,000 tons respectively.

Moreover, the two processing centers will add an extra annual capacity for HDG plate of 500,000 tons from this June.
