Since China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steel maker in Taiwan has hiked its price for steel wires and bars, the other two steel long product manufactures have also followed CSC's step to rise their new prices for wires and bars.
It’s known that Dragon Steel hiked the prices by NT$600/ton and Feng Hsin increased the prices by NT$500/ton.
Furthermore, Tycoons has also announced to hike its new prices by NT$1000/ton last week.
Also, it’s expected that the prices of steel long products would keep rising in the first quarter of this year, pushing the local buyers to place order recently.
