Wild Rose Is Planning to Relocate Its Brewery by February 2014

Wild Rose Brewery has received a notice from the Canada Lands Company to relocate its brewery by February 2014.

The notice is regarding non-renewal of the lease of AF23 Building at Currie barracks, which houses the company's brewery and Tap Room.

Wild Rose Brewery CEO Bill McKenzie said that the company is working with Canada Lands Company to find a new location within the Barracks.

"We anticipated this event, though the dates have only recently been confirmed," McKenzie added.

The company plans to operate at two separate locations, with its new location in the Foothills Industrial park that will provide capacity to meet demand, while it is searching for location to shift the Brewhouse and Tap Room.

Brewery produces Ales including Wraspberry, Velvet Fog, I.P.A., Brown, Wred Wheat, and Special Old Bitter.
