Dave'Lofty'Lockhart, owner of Codex Audio,is currently working as system technician, tour manager and head sound engineer(amongst others!),for The Blockheads and Bruce Foxton's From the Jam.

Codex Audio recently engineered the Wake Up Woking charity event with From The Jam where Lofty was"looking forward to giving some of the new FX an airing".He adds,"The PRO2C is the best of both digital and analogue. It sounds and feels like the best desk with knobs you've ever used, and you don't need a truck to get it to the gig.People(myself included)get excited just looking at them."

Codex Audio recently supplied PA for the Modrophenia show at Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton for FTJ and The Beat(engineered by Chris Seymour)."I was very pleased with the sound",says Lofty."Comparing it to our previous consoles,I was impressed.I prefer to use a console I am comfortable on.So wherever possible I use my own console for the shows. It's very easy to navigate the PRO2C's and get a show out of them. They have excellent FX,dynamics, and graphics, and all in all they're a great package."

Tim Bamber, technical sales at LMC Birmingham, comments,"Codex Audio have been a loyal customer of LMC for many years.Since dealing with Lofty I have quickly learnt that if a piece of equipment doesn't sound great,it doesn't get into Codex Audio's hire stock."
