HIG Capital has completed takeover of Arctic Glacier Fund, encompassing all its subsidiaries to create an ice packaging firm.
Arctic Glacier produces, distributes and markets packaged ice, running 39 production plants and 49 distribution outlets that provide service to 75,000 retail locations.
Arctic Glacier president and CEO Keith McMahon claimed the acquisition provides stability and positions the firm well for growth.

HIG Capital expressed willingness to pursue the opportunities ahead by working with the team from Arctic.
