Honda Motor will begin sale of the all-new JADE RS, a new addition to the JADE lineup at dealerships across Japan on 28 May this year.
Powered by newly-developed 1.5-liter direct injection Vtec Turbo engine, the all-new JADE RS features low height, three-row seating, and the Honda Sensing advanced driver-assistive system.
The car also features agile handling assist (AHA), an electric control system designed to improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle through brake control.
The engine comprises direct injection system, small-diameter turbine and dual VTC to enhance the turbo effect in low rpm range. This, in return, allows the JADE RS for smoothness and power even while driving multiple passengers, and on hilly roads.
With a fuel economy of 18.0km/liter, the new Vtec Turbo engine can generate torque equivalent to that of a 2.4-liter engine, thus facilitating smooth acceleration.
A new CVT of the vehicle will exploit the full potential of the Vtec Turbo engine.
