Dollarama Recalls The Armella Brand Hazelnut - Cocoa Spread

Dollarama is recalling the Armella brand Hazelnut – Cocoa Spread, as it may contain almonds which are not mentioned on the label, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced.

The recalled product is Armella brand Hazelnut - Cocoa Spread of 350g featuring UPC code 0 65756 10170 8. All batch numbers and best before dates of the product, imported from Turkey, are affected.

No illnesses have been reported to date associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumers intolerant to almonds have been advised not to eat this product as it may result in a serious or life-threatening reaction.

Dollarama of Montréal, Quebec, is voluntarily recalling the affected product, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
