UK-based Linpac Packaging has announced that the company's site in Bukowice, Poland will supply more than 100 million polystyrene trays a year to Polish meat processing company Pini Polonia, as part of a contract.
Working in partnership with the team at Pini Polonia, Linpac is set to deliver the trays to ensure their products are packaged to protect, preserve and present their wide range of pork products.
Pini Polonia plant can process the slaughter and prepare more than 1,000 pigs an hour and its products are approved for export to all EU countries, Ukraine, CIS countries, Japan, South Korea, Hong-Kong and New Zealand.
The plant is in the process of obtaining permissions for export to US, Canada, China, Philippines and Australia.
Linpac claims that its trays will ensure the stands of food preparation and packaging for central and eastern retailers and consumers.
