Quintain Steel Raises Its List Prices for Its Wire Rod Products for Next January

Quintain Steel, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan announced to raise its list prices for its wire rod products by NT$500~NT$1,000/ton for next January.

It’s known that the company decided to increase its list prices for Al-killed wire rods by NT$500/ton to NT$25,500/ton.

Also, the company increased the list prices for rimmed wire rods and blast furnace killed wire rods by NT$1,000/ton respectively to NT$24,500/ton and NT$23,500/ton.

Industry sources said that the Quintain Steel’s price rise met the market participants’ forecast since the prices of raw materials such as scraps and iron ore have increase recently.
