Japanese carmaker Mazda has launched the new micro-mini tall Flairwagon in the country.
According to the carmaker, the new wagon is available in three variants which include the LS, XS and TS models, along with a special edition IS Limited model featuring an idling stop system.
The LS, XS and IS models are powered by a 660 DOHC VVT engine, while the TS model is offered with a 660 DOHC Turbo powertrain and all the engines are mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with auxiliary gearbox.
The IS model is offered with front-wheel drive (FWD) as standard, while a choice of FWD and full-time 4WD is offered in the LS, XS and TS models.
Mazda said that the fuel economy of the models range from 17.2kmpl for the TS variant, 22.2kmpl for the IS model, 18.6kmpl for XS and about 19.2kmpl for the LS models.
The Flairwagon will be sold in Japan with a price range from $15,250 for the LS model to nearly $18,855 for the TS model, while the IS Limited is priced at $15,777.
