Tree Fu Tom is celebrating its full product range launch in the UK.
The hero of the popular CBeebies TV series made a series of appearances throughout half term.
He visited Welwyn Garden City, Bluewater, Kingston upon Thames and finally John Lewis' Oxford Street store, where the events culminated in a storytelling session with former Dr Who star Sophie Aldred, the voice of the show’s hero, Tom.
20 simultaneous Tree Fu Tom 'Twitter Parties', organised by Evolution PR, also promoted Flair’s toy range, delivering nearly four million tweets. #Treefutomtoys hit number four in UK trending topics during the two hour party.
Pindy O’Brien of VP Licensing and Retail, FremantleMedia, said: “It’s been wonderful to see Tree Fu Tom out there connecting with his fans and getting young children really engaged with the brand."
Tom encourages viewers to interact with the show through physical actions devised and approved by movement development specialists, to assist in the development of children.
With animation by Blue Zoo Animation, Tree Fu Tom is a co-production between FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment and CBeebies.
