German sports car manufacturer Porsche has reported 16% rise in its worldwide sales to 12,391 vehicles in July 2012, compared to 10,722 vehicles for the same period in 2011.
The company sold a total of 81,562 vehicles in the first seven months of 2012.
In Europe, the sports car manufacturer's sales rose 25% to 4,594 vehicles, compared to 3,677 vehicles for the same period a year ago.
Porsche sold 1,694 vehicles in Germany in July 2012, compared to 1,292 vehicles for the same period previous year.
Porsche member of the executive board sales and marketing Bernhard Maier said that the company continued on its successful sales course in July with a strong gain in deliveries.
"We are confident that we will attain solid global growth figures over the rest of this year as well, despite economic uncertainty in Europe," Maier said.
