South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor is set to introduce its new Genesis sedan in Europe in 2014.
The automotive giant along with Kia Motors Corp, will introduce the car in South Korea in November 2013, followed by rollouts in the US and other countries in 2014.
According to the automaker, which does not have apremium vehicle line-up in Europe, the new sedan will be the first large sedan sold in the continent.
The South Korean automaker has unveiled the first images of soon-to-be-launched Genesis Premium Sedan, and held an 'All-New Genesis Media Preview' for the Korean media at its R&D center to accompany the event.
The company initiated the project with an investment of KRW500bn, to develop a world-class premium rear-wheel drive sedan. It worked on for four years to develop the current version.
Genesis is the first model to incorporate Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Initially, the company launched the Fluidic Sculpture design in 2009.
Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 concept features refined fluidic design elements, advanced look with a singular hexagonal grille, rich visuotactile color, material and finishing of the car.
