Audi Has Recorded 13.7% Rise in Vehicle Sales in May 2012

German carmaker Audi has recorded 13.7% rise in vehicle sales in May 2012 to 128,900 cars, when compared to the corresponding month a year ago.

Audi achieved 12.1% rise in its sales during the initial five months of 2012 to 600,200 cars worldwide and now aims to increase its sales to 1.4 million cars in 2012 compared to 1.3 million it sold in 2011.

Audi Marketing and Sales Board of Management member Peter Schwarzenbauer said the current order intake proves that the first half of the year will exceed the company's expectations in all regions.
